BRAG Adoption Process

The adoption process can take anywhere from one to several weeks. Please be patient as we volunteer our time & with the large number of animals in need we may not be able to respond the same day. We do our best to respond to all emails in a timely manner!

Once we have your completed application which is found under the Forms/Applications link at www.braginc.org our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview with you. Next we will speak with the references you listed & your current veterinarian to verify all animals in the home are up to date on vaccinations & preventatives. **RENTERS** PLEASE verify with your landlord or management company you are allowed to have a dog AND that there are NO BREED RESTRICTIONS, PRIOR to submitting your application.

The last step will be the home visit by a BRAG volunteer. We love and care for these dogs as if they were our own & want to ensure they are going to be well cared for in a safe environment!

All BRAG dogs & puppies are vaccinated for distemper, parvo & rabies. In addition they are spayed or neutered & implanted with a microchip. BRAG dogs & puppies are also kept up to date on heartworm, flea & tick prevention.

Your adoption donation also includes 30 days of pet insurance.
