Watson wondered up to the right house one Sunday morning in Petersburg. He had a grunge ring around his neck so we could only speculate he busted off a chain & was on a walk about. His owner never came for him & the kind folks at the Petersburg Animal Welfare Society or PAWS took him in, had him brought up to date & neutered. Sadly his previous owner did not use heartworm prevention & our buddy Watson has them. He has completed his first treatment & needs a home to get better in. The vet's office is no place to heal! 
This beautiful boy is a big teddy bear, he loves to snuggle & take long walks. He is good on leash too! He does well with other dogs but is a little too interested in cats for his own good! Watson is super smart & will sit on command, is crate & house trained & LOVES his kong. Watson is a big boy & could use a refresher in manners with an obedience class. He would do good with another playful dog in the home.
