American Staffordshire Terrier (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Dylan was adopted from us as a small puppy. Her mom has declined in health & needs a double knee replacement. She can no longer care for Dylan. This is what her mom has to say. .....This sweet beautiful lady is in need of a home where someone can be home with her more hours than I am able to give her. I work 11 and more hours daily and her separation anxiety breaks my heart. She is only 11 months old and has all the wonderful energy and love of a puppy, but now that I need double knee replacement surgery I am not able to keep up with all the energy and excitement and action she adores, it is breaking my heart. I love Dylan with all my heart, she is my family, she's my girl. But she has become a physical challenge for me and I cant keep up with her energy anymore. Given the time and the love and the energy and the companionship she craves, Dylan will be an excellent member of any family. She gets along great with other dogs, loves the dog park, and she likes playing with cats, sometimes a bit roughly but has never tried to hurt them. Catching a ball is her favorite pastime. She knows some commands, such as come, stay, leave it, and "bring me the ball". She would adore being with someone who will run with her, even just take long walks with her, something that sadly I can no longer do with her. Dylan is an angel, she will bless any family who will rescue her and give her the things I no longer can.
