Cookie Monster came to us after she had her eleven babies in the shelter. She is AMAZING everyone she meets is her best friend, she loves to cuddle & play and REALLY loves her toys. Cookie is the dog you've been hoping for. All shots newly up-to-date as of August 2016, spayed and fully recovered.   About 50 lbs. 

Foster family willing to pet sit on occasion (including overnights) for 6 months.

One SMART Cookie

Very Good house manners. Knows the difference between her toys and your shoes! Fully potty trained. Doesn't counter surf. Doesn't bark at doorbell or mailman. Waits to be invited onto furniture.

Knows commands sit, wait, come, look, getcha toy, drop it (with found objects, still working on doing it with toys), and uh-uh-uh.  Foster family is teaching her more every week.

Willingly sleeps quietly in crate overnight, 12 hours with a potty break in middle.

Content for a long time with a filled Kong or her favorite chew toys (included in adoption fee).

Good eater, not fussy.  (7-10 day supply of food and treats included in adoption fee)

Champion cuddler.

Independent swim certified at Alpha Dog Club.  Two free swims included with adoption (foster will coordinate with you).

 

Approx 3 years old. Still getting her figure back after a litter of 11 healthy puppies.

May get along with other dogs on a case by case basis.

Not yet tested with children under 10.

Will chase cats.

Needs fun interaction and light physical activity before being left alone during the day. Does fine for 3-4 hours and foster currently building up longer times.
